The photographs allow the design to speak for itself, and so the copy is intended to provide the relevant business context<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2concepts.co.uk\/\"><strong>www.c2concepts.co.uk<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Heineken, Sales and marketing headquarters, London<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Office fit out<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heineken was the official\nbeer and cider supplier to the London 2012 Olympics. To maximise the commercial\nopportunities offered by the Games, the company decided to create a new sales\nand marketing headquarters in the heart of London\u2019s West End.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The brief was to provide a\nflexible workspace as well as state of the art meeting, presentation and\nhospitality spaces, which would showcase Heineken\u2019s various drinks brands.\nThese include John Smith\u2019s, Foster\u2019s and Bulmers cider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bold wall graphics,\nlighting features and customised manifestations on the glass partitions\nexplicitly promote the company\u2019s products. But the design also makes more\nsubtle reference to Heineken\u2019s heritage through the use of materials reclaimed\nfrom the brewing industry such as polished copper and aged oak. This richly\npatinated timber forms a backdrop to the central bar and the glass feature\nstaircase that curves around it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C2 has also designed\nHeineken\u2019s Edinburgh office and a post-Covid reorganisation of the London HQ.<strong><br>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Barclays Bank, Wavertree, Manchester, New Delhi and\nPune<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Workplace concept. Office\nand contact centre fit outs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hearts and Minds is C2\u2019s\ncompetition-winning workplace concept for Barclays, created originally for the upgrade\nof the bank\u2019s Wavertree contact centre in Liverpool. C2 was one of 13 design\nfirms invited to submit proposals for the project. The brief was to devise a\nworkplace model that could be rolled out globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed to encourage\ncommunication, Hearts and Minds also provides a comfortable, flexible workspace\nthat can accommodate changing team sizes and a variety of management styles.\nIts adaptability has been proved through several further C2 projects for\nBarclays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the bank\u2019s new\nManchester office \u2013 which accommodates over 1,000 contact centre and support\nstaff as well as a regional Barclays\u2019 Academy \u2013 C2 modified the concept for the\noffice areas. And at offices in New Delhi and Pune in India, Hearts and Minds\nwas tweaked to reflect local working practices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>C2 Concepts is a firm of workplace designers with studios in Glasgow and London.
